Mission |
The Opioid Awareness Foundation. is committed to saving lives and building safer communities by preventing fentanyl poisonings, opioid overdoses, and the devastation caused by all harsh illegal drugs, such as methamphetamines. Through advanced data tools, Indigenous partnerships, and real-time reporting, we aim to reduce deaths, disrupt trafficking networks, and ease the financial burden on families and the nation.

Why This Program Matters
The Economic Burden |
Illicit opioids, fentanyl, methamphetamines, and other harsh drugs cost the United States an estimated $2.7 trillion annually in healthcare, productivity losses, law enforcement, and quality-of-life costs. Every overdose prevented means fewer emergency room visits, lower incarceration rates, and reduced healthcare expenses. Even preventing 100 deaths per year produces $1.3 billion in societal savings, far outweighing program costs.
|
Support for Indigenous Nations |
Native American communities face drug-related death rates 30–50% higher than the national average. Many reservations lack adequate treatment and prevention infrastructure. By combining GIS mapping with tribal partnerships, this program:
