My Story
Anthony “AB Money” Mosley
Artist • Advocate • Cultural Influencer
Anthony “AB Money” Mosley is a legendary hip-hop artist, producer, and cultural innovator whose voice has echoed across generations. Now serving as a dedicated Board Member of The Light Must Unite – Opioid Awareness Foundation, AB Money brings decades of industry experience, creative power, and a deep commitment to healing underserved communities hit hardest by addiction.
A founding member of the pioneering group Rappin’ Is Fundamental (R.I.F.)—alongside Osten “Easy Mo Bee” Harvey, Jr. and Darron “JR” Strand—AB helped birth the iconic “doo-hop” sound, blending classic doo-wop with streetwise hip-hop. This innovation caught the attention of Miles Davis, leading to a historic collaboration on Davis’s final studio album, Doo Bop.
Throughout his storied career, AB has worked with legends such as Tupac Shakur, Wu-Tang Clan, Big Daddy Kane, Busta Rhymes, and Nice & Smooth, while also mentoring rising independent artists and empowering new voices in music.
As part of his outreach through the Opioid Awareness Foundation, AB Money incorporates the Foundation’s mission into his annual Motivate Awards—an event that honors frontline heroes such as doctors, first responders, and community advocates making a difference in the fight against addiction. His commitment to education and prevention also extends through his powerful podcast, Walk with the Legends, where he engages cultural figures and thought leaders to spread awareness and inspire action.
Whether through music, mentorship, or media, AB Money continues to transform his influence into impact—using his platform to educate, elevate, and fight for a future free from the grip of opioid addiction.
