We are deeply grateful for the life and contributions of Laurel Bennett, one of the first supporters of the Opioid Awareness Foundation. As an advisory board member, Laurel’s dedication and vision have left an indelible mark on our mission to combat opioid addiction.

Laurel’s remarkable journey began in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, where she was born before eventually making Florida her home. An accomplished engineer, she worked with Pratt & Whitney on space shuttle engines, showcasing her brilliance and dedication. Later, she pursued her passion for medicine, becoming a business owner and founding PHR Solutions, where she poured her heart into her work.

Beyond her professional achievements, Laurel was a devoted community advocate, running for office in the town of Palm Beach. Her warmth, generosity, and passion for bettering the lives of others were evident in every endeavor she undertook. Laurel will be profoundly missed and forever remembered.
