Hello,

I'm Renee Ronnie

My Story

Renee Ronnie has been a compassionate activist for humanity’s higher consciousness. Since her early teens she has passionately contributed to the awareness of social injustices and the misalignment of human development. Over the years Ms. Ronnie has joined multiple organizations creating unique programs to address the need for change. Her time and talents continue to be dedicated to healing and awakening humanity’s fullest potential. A certified IPEC Life Coach since 2006, she has guided individuals as well as organizations and communities. Her dedication continues to inspire anyone on her path to live life at full soulful potential.

Years ago after attending Syracuse University Renee became a successful professional artist and was excelling at building her career when a tragic accident occurred and took the life of her youngest sister. The crippling undeniable grief her family and sister’s friends were experiencing inspired her to create a non profit in honor of her sister’s life just nine days after her sisters untimely death. The loss of her youngest sister activated a calling to create this avenue of healing for her own family and friends while also giving support to children and families enduring serious illnesses and other horrific adversities. Missy (her sister) was educating herself to be a teacher of children. Being founder of this non profit Memorial Fund directed her focus towards the interest of children with serious illnesses, poverty, and dysfunctional family issues. Thousands of children and families in the state of New Jersey have been assisted over the years by this compassionate remembrance organization. This non profit has been in existence for over 35 years now and has been spearheaded with all volunteers including family and friends. Renee is currently reorganizing and expanding this mission with new partners and technology to become a global reach. While working over the years with children and families and realizing the enormous need that existed to support children and families dealing with serious illness such as cancer. Ms. Ronnie became an active board member of STOP Children’s Cancer as well as Children’s Miracle Network. She also has served as a member of the Pediatric Oncology Support Team (POST) and many other non profit organizations directly involved with supporting families and children with cancer. She developed numerous programs for children’s cancer organizations and her efforts included art, wellness education, and fundraising. She received a grant from VSA and created a program that incorporated her love of art with health. This program served several hospitals and patients using art for processing traumas and bringing joy and community connection to the healing process related with illness. Her knowledge of how to use various forms of art to create a safe outlet for expression in the release of trauma and to induce healing opportunities, as well as, the ability to bring communities together became the catalyst for the many programs she has nurtured into existence. Renee has also inspired and trained hundreds of volunteers. While active with Arts & Health in hospitals she was offered employment by the CEO of one of the hospitals she was serving. Without a degree or formal training she became the Director of Child Life. Renee personally provided daily loving support and education to the pediatric patients and families through art and compassionate service as she developed the Child Life Program. Her responsibility’s included managing all community engagements, education, and advocacy that included the children, families of all patients ,as well as staff. She managed and trained volunteers, employees and budget. Ms. Ronnie was responsible as the Director for the advocacy of every hospitalized child ( Child Life Program ) in a hospital with 78 beds most often filled to capacity with children. She loved and supported each of those children as her own.

After 911 she created Prayer Flags for Peace and assisted in a concert called Voices for Healing. This concert was a successful sold out event gathering numerous high school choirs together to sing messages of hope and inspiration. The money raised was donated to families of this evil tragedy. Over a thousand children took the stage and participated in this inspiring concert. Renee Ronnie was founder of a global community art project called Prayer Flags for Peace. The flags successfully surrounded the entire site of the fallen towers of the World Trade Center on the first anniversary of 911 bringing prayers for peace and healing. Thousands of flags from across the world got collected and so many people responded that extra flags were donated to fire and rescue stations as well. Each Peace Prayer Flag was a unique art drawing and the participants own prayer for peace infused. All the flags collected were drawings on pillow cases strung together that circled the site to represent the participants dreams for humanity. The vision and hopes for a better world using the power of prayer. The Flag project was greatly assisted to success by The United Nations, Japanese Shinji  Sheumi, Bed Bath and Beyond,Christ Fellowship Church and many more sponsors.

Raising two children as a single mother in Florida when the opiate epidemic was riddled out of control with “pill mills” reported in her area, she personally experienced the devastating effects of opiate crisis when her family home was robbed by teen opiate addicts looking for money to feed their habit. One of those identified young teens died shortly after the robbery. Being without insurance that robbery devastated her financially. The loss of these assets brought great financial hardship and eventually the loss of the family home. Rather than persecute or fall into negative victim energy she used her experiences ,skills and spiritual love to help those desiring to gain back their lives from opiate addiction. Once again a devastating loss inspired her to create compassionate efforts directed towards helping humanity and opiate addicts whose desire was to rehabilitate and create renewed lives. Renee also worked for the renowned Hippocrates Health Institute to educate herself on the value of food as medicine. This furthered her abilities to incorporate wellness using food for balancing the body into ultimate health. Knowing the many benefits of plant medicine vs pharmaceuticals Ms. Ronnie has also been deeply involved with education and advocacy for the sacred plants provided on earth including cannabis for health. She has worked with some of the major leaders in this field as well as patients and doctors.

Renee has also supported and assisted a famous musical artist concerned with advocating towards the undeniable rise in teen and young adults mental health and suicide rate and to supported high risk youth.
